This is the perfect spindle to replace the 8-spline that came stock on your BMX Bike equipped with 3-piece OEM cranks. Or if your bike came with 3-piece cranks and a loose-ball bottom bracket, then upgrading to this spindle would allow you to run a nice set of sealed bearings (sold separately).
